Rare, Vintage original antique 1930s Gill Glass & Fixture Co. 5 light chandelier fixture. Really nice condition, original to our house, been t since the day it was hung. Copper, bronze and chrome deco ceiling canopy mount matches fixture. Pearlized iridescent glass shades (carnival glass ?) with nice metal filligree around edges match rest of chandelier. This has the original wiring, which, by-the-way, has worked just fine for the last 75 years or so. The stickers inside are numbered: Inspected Electric Fixture issue A-40732 (perhaps this is a date for July 4, 1932 ???). Also Union Made 2583062. The glass shades are not cracked or chipped at all. The only issue is a few spots w the brass patina looks to have been rubbed off--see the two arrows in the picture below showing the areas, which are not seen once the fixture is hung. This has not been cleaned--that will be up to the new owner. I don't want to remove the beatiful 75 year patina. This chandelier is pictured in the book "Lighting Fixtures of the Depression Era" (see last two photos). Now for size: Ceiling to bottom of fixture=38.5 inches. Approx. 16.5 inches across main fixture. Shades are approx. 5 by 3.5 inches.
