FIRESIDE CHAIRSDescription:What a great looking pair of chairs! This is a scarce set of 2 matching fireside, or mirrored chairs, that are most likely from the 1930s. These are good looking heavy sturdy chairs that are actually very comfortable to sit in, unlike some others that may look great but are torture to spend any time on. They are upholstered in a heavy tapestry fabric with double piping on all of the seams and deep button tufting on the backs. We hope that the images we shot outside will show off these chairs better than our words ever could.Dimensions: The chairs are 35" at the highest point on the back, they are 23" deep, 30" wide, seat height is 19" and the low side arm measures up to 24 3/4". Each chair is about 30 to 40 pounds in weight.Condition: Fair to good. These are used chairs so there are some very minor conditions issues noted such as nicks and scratches on the wood. The spring foundations are strong and the fabric is completely intact. These are great candidates for restoration to your taste, or they can be used as is. Overall, these pieces of original furniture are in remarkably good condition, in our opinion. Our multiple images shown above will attempt to describe the look, style, condition and value of these fantastic pieces of furniture. We CAN assist with local pickup or recommend quality, reliable shippers read more
