Super rare 1930's Gilmore Gas & Oil Company metal container that shows three views of the streamlined gas tanker they used for their gas stations. All the Gilmore cans are rare but this is never seen anymore and very tough to find. Each tanker on the can is surrounded by a white starburst to offset the cream color nest to them. The condition of the can is very good as you can see with strong color and gloss to the paint. There is some wear from handling and a small scratch on the front but no bends to the metal or other problems. The paint on the gas tankers is very bright and strong and the lid is also in great shape with very light wear. There is some of the original wax still in the metal container. The size of the can is approx 4 inches across the top. Great piece that is never seen on ebay or at the shows. These due not appear anymore and not in this clean condition. Each of the 3 Tankers on the can have the Lion on the back of the Tanker and it says the Record above the Lion and Breakers below the Lion. The Record Breakers which referred to their gasoline.
