You are bidding on one Vintage 1930's, Hand Pieced, Grandmother's Flower Garden Pattern, Cotton Feed Sack Fabric, Quilt Top in great condition. The quilt top has no rips, tears or stains. We purchased this wonderful piece of Primitive Americana in Southeast Missouri..."The Heartland of America".. The quilt top is hand pieced using the tiny 1 inch diameter hexagonal shaped quilt pieces. The quilt top is constructed of 100% Vintage Cotton Feed Sack Material. The quilt top has a scalloped edge...see my photos. The quilt top measures 84 inches by 74 inches.. The quilt top contains approximately 5,000 individual hexagonal shaped pieces of fabric....Yes, that is a lot of stitching and cutting..many hours were spent piecing this quilt top.
