You are getting 3 vintage 1930's movie magazines in this auction. December 1931 Silver Screen with Leila Hyams on the cover July 1933 Movie Mirror with a very effeminate Clark Gable on the cover April 1934 Shadoplay with Myrna Loy on the cover All have missing pages which is why I am selling all together. are the particulars: SHADOPLAY missing 9 pages (all of the portraits) and then 2 - 1/2 pages are gone. Still the cover is stunning and is in good shape. T are ads for Lanny Ross, Wallace Beery in Viva Villa, House of Rothschild with George Arliss, the back cover is a great color ad for Lux Soap with Barbara Stanwyck. Stories on keeping fit with William Powell, Hal LeRoy, Gable with lots of pix, Franchot Tone & Joan Crawford, Anna Sten, Douglas Fairbanks after the divorce from Mary Pickford, Jimmy Durante, Diana Wyngard modelling hats. MOVIE MIRROR The Gable cover is in poor condition, has been eaten away most of the way around and is not attached - no back cover. Apart from that the magazine is complete. Beautiful portraits of Jean Harlow, Adrienne Ames, Lilian Harvey, Sari Maritza, Heather Angel, Carole Lombard, Ginger Rogers, Golddiggers.
