Cathedral Fine Art presents to you for auction: "Montmartre" French School, circa 1950 follower of Maurice Utrillo, signed with initials "L.R." oil on canvas, measurements are 18 by 21.75 inches frame measurements are 24 by 28 inches Very fine French oil painting, showing the Montmartre area of Paris, made famous through the paintings of many artists. The style of this work is very much like the French painter Maurice Utrillo and were it not signed with different initials, one would assume it by him! The painting is signed "L. R." and the artist has not been identified but it is a seriously good quality work that with further research is bound to reveal the artist. It dates to the 1950's.
