Royal Doulton, England - SWEET ANNE Doulton number M 27 BONE CHINA figurineDesigner: L. HarradineApprox. 4 inches in height A VERY POPULAR figure, introduced in 1932, and RETIRED (discontinued) in 1945. My particular Sweet Anne is harder to find than either M5 or M6 and RARE WITH "Rd No. & 743560", and artist lettered :M27 SWEET ANNE" (see backstamp in PHOTO). Also, quality is EXCELLENT, with sharp detail, not found on those more recently produced!Listed in my The Charlton Standard Catalogue of Royal Doulton figurines, with a value of $625, but my opening bid is 70% off book. because it has been completely examined.
