1930's Schuco Disney Tumbling Clockwork Mickey Mouse This auction is for a vintage Schuco Tumbling Mickey Mouse Clockwork Tinplate Figure circa 1930's. It has the wind key (included), it's tied to his waist on a string. Mouse does an acrobatic somersault - he tumbles over and over. Made from tinplate covered in grey felt/velveteen with wool felt hands, feet, and ears. Dressed in red felt shorts with black stitched nose and tin eyes. Measures 4" in length. Schuco was founded in Nuremberg, Germany in 1912. The company produced small felt and plush covered mechanical tinplate toys, including animals, walking soldiers, clowns, and other figures. This mouse is pre-war, circa 1930's This toy is in very good working condition with some wear to the velvet (mostly in back). Original eyes intact. Ribbon around neck shows fading and key shows rust/oxidation. Mouse is missing one wool cover on right foot but he still works and tumbles over nicely. SHIPPING WITHIN THE CONTINENTAL USA IS $7.00
