Art Deco Shelley banded ribbed hand painted vase – Volcano Shape 973 in graduated greens from pastel eau-de-nil through to deep teal with glaze finish. Good condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or discoloration. Clean interior. Couple of tiny spots of paint loss near the base, which is quite common for vintage banded ware. To the underside there is the green Shelley Shield with England , which was the mark used between c1925 to 1940, and an impress 973. Approx measurements:- 6" (approx 15 cms) high x 13" (approx 33 cms) circumference at widest point of base. Approx unpacked weight:- 0.340 kgms If you would like to see further photos, this will be no trouble at all.
