1930s Tremo Recognition Identification Tabletop 1/1200 Scale Waterline Metal Models. Destroyer - Hasty Class etc. Four Tremo Destroyers in an original Tremo box. I am not saying that this is the correct content for this box. This is Four Tremo Destroyers in a "Destroyer" Box. You decide what the content might have been. HMS Javelin + HMS Scout (the small one) + HMS Hotspur + HMS Verdun. Cast metal and painted models manufactured in the late 1930s by Tremo (Treforest Mouldings Ltd, Treforest Trading Estate, Pontypridd, South Wales, United Kingdom ). The Company logo moulded into the underneath of the larger models is an "M" crossed by a "T". Scale 1/1200 (one inch equals one hundred feet). Length of each model about 2.7" to 3.5 " inches. For the period, these are very accurate tabletop recognition models depicting the appearance of these Warship in the late 1930s. The original catalogue price of a Destroyer of this type was between 1/- (one shilling) and 1/3d (One shilling and three pence). Condition: Grey & Tan enamel paint. Very fine original condition. Javelin has its wire cross mast missing (easily replaced) otherwise all details complete and hardly any wear to the paint. Generally a superb collection in superfine original condition.
