1930's Vintage Hand Made Butterfly Quilt Yellow Multi Very nice 1930's vintage all hand stitched quilt with a Butterfly motif and an inset border. The colors include Lavendar, Green, Pink, Yellow, Blue, Lilac and More. The reverse is a lovely shade of yellow and the batton is made of cotton. The colors are still bright and true with little to no fading.This quilt was made by my grandmother, for my aunt, in the 1930's. Mamaw was a master seamtress. She lived in Louisiana (1886 - 1977) and was well known for the quality of her work. The size is 90" x 78" The straight edges are in great condition with no fraying. I found 1 small hole that had been repaired and a few tiny very light stains. This quilt, though intended for use, obviously has not seen alot of usage and overall in Very Good - Excellent vintage condition.
