1931 O gauge 2-4-2 American Flyer Type VIII #3300 the 1st type VIII A.F. produced. Can't find linkage for this Locomotive. No front or rear trucks, No tender but these came with the Vanderbilt #3301 tenders. Ran on test/repair track and runs fast forward and reverse, drive wheels turn smooth by hand. Both front drive wheels crumbling on outsides could repair in front so see pictures, there are other parts missing or replacement nuts and bolts have been replaced. The connector pin for the tender was gone so we made up one but really needs replaced. These 1931 type VIII's are hard to find. Found mega folks sell other type VIII's as #3300's but they are not #3300's they are type VIII and there is a big difference. Check out the pictures and to the best of my knowledge have listed correctly. The green #3300 R/C stamped under the boiler/cowcatcher is there and maybe you will get lucky and find the linkage. Thank you for looking. This old #3300 has alot of good original hard to find parts parts. The built in headlight visor is not damaged, boiler/cowcatcher not damaged and the rest of shell no damage. Needs a good bead blasting, priming and top coat of paint or just a good cleaning. Thanks for looking. The red firebox light weight is gone.
