BING & GRONDAHL CHRISTMAS PLATE 1932 Bing &Grondahl has issued each year from 1895 a Christmas plate in the famous hand painted cobalt blue. Every plate is made for one year only. Then the moulds are destroyed. Normally the plates are sold out within a short period of time, and can usually only be bought as antique items. Beautiful B&G Copenhagen, Denmark Christmas plate 1932 showing a lifeboat. Designed byH flugenring. Perfect condition. First class. Hand painted in cobalt blue. Fully marked and signed. Can expect minor specks in the glaze, which is typical of these Early Wares. Ca 7-inch diameter. Made with holes in the back ready for hanging. First class without any chips, cracks or repairs. Have got most of this beautiful collection from 1904-2012 The picture shown may not be the one you will get as I do not take new picture for each plate.
