1933 Century of Progress Art Deco Poster Chicago World's Fair Signed Welsh - Bal Des Quat'z Arts - Lady HITW 6/6 This is a fabulous vintage poster! It measures about 21.5" square and was done in red and blue. The large circle reads: Bal Des Quat'z Arts - Century of Progress 1933. The outer ring rads: Famous Cafes, Shops, Peep Shows, Grisettes, Boulevardiers, Artists and Models. Foot of Twenty third Street Inaugural Night may Twnety Ninth. The poster is signed "Welsh" Wonderful Art Deco imagery with a woman in the center. This is VERY cool and would look great framed. The poster does have some condition issue and was stored folded. $39.99 reserve Another interesting aspect of the poster is what's on the reverse. I'm not sure how this piece got t - so I'm just going to leave it. Part of it is an article from the Chicago Daily Tribuen datd August 4, 1934.
