You are bidding on a nice, original 1933 Century of Progress World's Fair Skyride Souvenir Elongated Cent that was issued for the 1933 Century World's Fair aka A Century of Progress International Exposition (CPIE) held in Chicago Illinois. The front features the Skyride with Airplane flying above with the text A CENTURY OF PROGRESS / CHICAGO / 1933 / SKYRIDE . The back has the details of a Lincoln Wheat Ear Cent . Listed in YESTERDAYS ELONGATEDS by Dottie Dow and Lee Martin as catalog # ILL-CPIE-104 , it is a Rarity 2 . With intricate details and Red Mint Luster in the protected areas (See photos) it would make a nice addition to anyones collection of Elongated Coins or World's Fair memoribilia.
