Amazing set of 7 real photo postcards from the 1933-34 school year. Latham High School is now combined with Warrensburg, but they were the "Bunnies". Postcards are all very clean (some minor edge wear and rubbing) and clear and have the AZO four squares in the top right. They include the: 1933-34 Boys Basketball Team: the jerseys look like "wifebeater" shirts with old time boxing shorts with belts. There is a basketball in the picture with the old time laces inscribed "Latham '33-'34". The coach on the right side is wearing a dark suit and the assistant on the left is wearing a tie that's too short. Co-ed Club: Second picture shows a club, maybe Glee Club?, and two of the boys are wearing Letterman sweaters. Some of these students were also on the basketball team. School Band: Amazing shot of the band playing in the gymnasium. I see violins, horns, drums, triangle, saxophones, clarinets, oboes, etc. There is a basketball hoop in the background, and the instructor on the left appears to be wearing a trench coat. Everyone else is in their "Sunday best". Another co-ed club: Posed studio photo of students again wearing their suits, ties, and dresses. Great for fashionistas. Many hairstyles still would be modern today. Another co-ed club, but younger students: Boys and tall girls stand behind a row of gals. Last club (two copies) read more
