1934 WASHINGTON QUARTER, PCGS MS64 OLD GREEN HOLDER. Very old holder, not a rattler, but not too far behind. Anything I ever sent in for upgrade in one of these holders (which for the record is a grand total of three) has always come back one grade higher. This is a really nice quarter, nice luster, with some very light gold toning on the left obverse and maybe a very tiny overlay of gold toning on the reverse. It is very attractive, my opinion of course, but I've collecting for 45 years, so I think my opinion at least with regard to "eye appeal" is accurate. As far as the variety. I fairly certain it isn't the ddo, and it isn't the light motto... which leaves the MM and HM. My opinion, it is the medium motto, which of course is the cheapest of the bunch. PCGS price guide in ms64 - $60 and $115 in ms65. If I could give you a better scan of the obverse, I would. Lots of questions about the holder, it is not a "rattler" style holder, it is just a real old green holder.. has the four internal "rivets" ... might not be the correct word for it, but you can see the four "pins" on the scan.
