This all American made Bulova was originally built for a man, but is a comfortable size for either gender. Its movement is stamped with the date symbol for 1935, and while Bulova used movements from many makers, this fine movement was built in the USA by Bulova. The antique dial shows age and slight loss of detail, but is rare and quite valuable due to its original undisturbed condition. Its gold numerals and hands are glossy and easy to read. The crystal is glass and has some tiny pin sized scars on its outer surface. They are not very noticeable and do not penetrate the glass. The case shows some wearthrough of the plating at the lugs and crown. It measures 26mm X 36mm excluding the signed crown. The watch was worn often but also well maintained. The movement remains in excellent condition. It winds and sets perfectly, runs with a strong motion, and keeps time. The high quality NOS band is Swiss made by Banda and is unworn. Banda watch bands are hand-made. The watch fits wrists of up to 8". After many decades, this watch is still dependable and quite desirable.
