Twenty two page booklet from 1935 titled "YOUR POSTAL SERVICE-has a picture of Franklin D. Roosevelt who was President at the time. Inside page of this booklet has pictures of the POSTAL ADMINISTRATORS~with James A. Farley being the Postmaster General. ~ Just a few of the book page articles: QUESTIONS Often Asked by Patrons(I have a few questions of my own), Patrons Tell Best News, Pertinent Tips to Mailers, False Statements as Old as Rural Service, Permanent Cut Hits Carriers, plus a page showing you could WIN $100 in CASH for writing an article and submitting it-of which the OFFICIALS of the POST OFFICE DEPARTMENT would act as JUDGES! (Wonder who won the contest that year of 1935?) Then t is the back of the booklet showing a copy of: "CHORUS OF "SERVICE WITH A SMILE"-Official Song, National Rural Letter Carriers Association. Centerfold gives photos of the continued service with a smile from postal workers no matter what the weather has to offer! PLUS several other pictures in this booklet such as the U S CAPITAL Under a Blanket of Snow-along with one of which I am showing a photo of the "HEAVILY BURDENED SANTA CLAUSES"-the postal workers.
