This is one of 12 wonderful old Wedgwood souvenir plates from Westtown School near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This is a Quaker co-ed boarding school for children grades K-12 begun in 1799 and continuing through the present. It is located about 23 miles from Philadelphia, near West Chester. This plate is a scene of the Meeting House. Each plate is marked on the back, Westtown School, 1935; the name of the scene; the Wedgwood England mark (both stamped and impressed) and a mark that indicates these plates were imported solely by Jones, McDuffee & Stratton Co. of Boston. Each plate is done in the mulberry tone and is 10 1/2 inches in diameter. This plate is in great condition! See the rest of these plates under my listings. Buyer pays priority mail; insurance extra. Will discount shipping for multiple purchases.
