Very nice original Air Castle Radio from around 1937. It has a 8-16-37 date written in pencil on the chassis. It has the original finish, knobs and grill cloth. It is untested electronically, so assume it will need some work to play. The chassis is clean and looks good. The cabinet has a chip on the back edge of the top 1/2" wide X 3/8" deep and minor finish wear. It measures 17" wide X 8" deep X 10 1/2" high. The left top corner of the radio has a very slight separation between the side and top. The radio dial has a little damage at the 2.5 Megacycle location. The plastic cover over the dial seems perfect. The radio has 6 tubes plus a tuning eye. and the inside paper label has a model number written in pencil that looks like 1098 AE. Overall a very nice looking radio that displays well. I will carefully pack and ship Fedex Ground.
