I only had two of these old Ironton phone books and this is the last one. July 1937 Telephone Directory of The Ohio Bell Telephone Company for Ironton, Ohio and Russell, Kentucky. It has very light wear, other than that it's in nice undamaged condition. Complete, with no hand writing, nothing missing. This is an especially nice looking phone book with the cool old advertising on the front cover. T are more great ads inside. The Ironton/ Russell area had a guy under the category of "Automobile Trimming", two who were called "Junk Dealers", one who made and serviced neon signs, a sport shop that restrung tennis rackets, 22 restaurants, 5 hotels, an ice cream shop, a flour mill, 3 "General Stores", 10 "Department Stores", 5 bakers, and three railway companies: the C&O Railway had one number, the N&W had five numbers, and the DT&I Railroad had two, one for local freight at one at the roundhouse.
