In fact, names that make-up the tradition of Scouting are in this issue; "A Page by Dan Beard" and "The Scout World edited by James E. West." Plus regular readers know "Green Bar Bill" and the laughs provided by "Think and Grin." Both the photos, and the ads, though, transport you to another time. This issue is from just before World War II. Unique to this issue are; "Wings Over Wonder Island"; a thrilling serial begins, "Jonah's Plane"; A jinx rode the wings of this Navy plane, and an article on football with photos of potential All-American players.
