Very Nice Copy of the Children’s Book “Hollow Tree Nights andDays, Being a Continuation of the Stories About the Hollow Tree and Deep Woods People” by Albert Bigelow Paine. This is the third Book in the Hollow Tree Fairy Tale Series, telling of the Deep Wood animated people. Profusely Illustrated with 70 Black & White Drawings by J. M. Conde. Published by Harper & Bros with the G-N Date Code for July, 1938. Ex-Library Copy from Northern Westchester Hospital in Mt. Kisco, NY. The Book is in fine condition. Pages are clean and without tears. Just a few Pages with some faint dog-earring (looks more like creasing lines across the Paper which often occurs when being produced). Binding is tight. The Green Cloth Boards view very nicely, particularly the Black & White Illustrated Front Cover. The Boards show some edge wear and light corner bumping. Also, a few pinholes on the Spine and some very light scattered spotting – not noticeable unless holding the Book up sideways to light. Measures 8 ¼” by 5 ½”. 290 Pages.
