This beautiful map is mounted on two strips of wood for hanging. It is in excellent condition for its age, there is a tear towards the lower right hand corner but this does not affect the map itself. There are also some water marks in the upper right hand corner - see 4th photo. 33 inches deep and 25 inches wide, printed on a type of woven material (canvas? linen?). The 2nd photo shows the title, mapmaker E.B.Bailey and 3rd Edition 1939. The 3rd photo indicates that it was presented with the compliments of The Sheepbridge Coal and Iron Company, Chesterfield. A very interesting old map.
