1939 New York World's Fair Celluloid Trylon/Perisp Salt And Pepper Shaker. 1939-40 . Made by Emeloid Co ., Arlington, N.J . Ivory Trylon and Perisp one piece salt and pepper shaker . Black base with 'NEW YORK WORLD'S FAIR' in gold lettering around front. It has two slide back openings in the bottom . Trylon is for pepper , Perisp for salt . It is 3 5/8 " high x 3 " front to back x 1 5/8 " wide. Base mark: ' One Piece Salt & Pepper Shaker , Pat. Pending , Emeloid Co., N.J '. It is in excellent, never used condition. T are no chips, cracks, repairs or breaks. Color excellent. Gold lettering excellent. Indentations at Perisp top point are original to the piece. It has never been exposed to smoking environment.
