1939 OMEGA MILITARY (RAF) 16 JEWELLED WRIST WATCH IN FULL WORKING ORDER Description : Vintage Circa 1939 16 jewelled Swiss made Omega military wrist watch in good working order. This watch with 6B/159 stamped to the back cover indicates it was issue by the air ministry for the Royal Air Force. The dial is white in colour with black coloured numerals and blued steel hands with centre sweep and marked Omega with logo. The rare 16 jewels Omega movement Cal 30T2SC is very clean with a good strong tick keeping good time and marked Omega Swiss, 16 Jewels and the number 9859920 which dates it to 1939. Under the balance is stamped the calibre type number 30T2SC. The back cover is marked to the inside fond Acier Inoxydable Omega with logo, Fab Suisse Swiss Made, 2292 and to the outside with the military crows foot 6B/159, A16833. The case is clean and bright and has worn as to its age with the back cover closing down nice and tight. The dial and dial glass are clean and clear with a few dot marks to the dial, otherwise in good condition. The strap is black leather and almost new. Measures 32mm across excluding crown.
