This auction is for a circa 1940 Thorens semi-automatic pocket lighter. I have provided a lot of photos to show the condition and help the viewer evaluate this lighter. I judge it to be in excellent condition. It has the initials 'AGH' nicely engraved on the front. There are no dents in the case and t he chrome plating is 100% intact. I have not done anything to clean or polish this lighter, a task I like to leave to the descretion of the winner. There is a safety button on the front of the lighter which unscrews so you can push it in which causes the top to flip up and the flint wheel to turn producing sparks to light the wick. This lighter works well, it just needs a flint and some lighter fluid to become functional. There is a flint storage receptacle on the underside of the fuel screw. Overall, this is a desirable example of a push-button Thorens lighter that I believe the winner will be very happy with.
