MAGNIFICENT RARE 1940's 100% HAWAIIAN 8 Strand MOMI WAHA ULA Cowry NIIHAU SHELLS Poli (chest) Length ... between 41 1/2" -42" ...43" with cowry. Beautiful pearl white quality shellsEach tiny shell is hand gathered from the beaches in Niihau... In the traditional masterly style, the shells have sand inside to add weight... They are so valuable that they are the only shells that can be insured.These shells are 100% Hawaiian Niihau shells.These are considered a great treasure. Original stringing... sold as is.This item was made in Hawaii, and is at least 80% Niihau shell. The actual percentage of Niihau shell in this item is 100%.
