Group of three All-Star Game baseballs from the early 1940's tucked away by Comerford. 1940 American League All-Stars on a Frick NL ball has 18 autos in green fountain pen: Ted Williams, Joe DiMaggio, Luke Appling, Bob Feller, Joe Cronin, Bill Dickey, Red Ruffing, Joe Gordon, Bob Johnson and Charlie Keller. Most are 7s and 8s. EX+ 1940 NL All-Stars with 20 autos in different inks on a Ford Frick ball: Mel Ott, Carl Hubbell, Bill McKechnie, John Mize, Leo Durocher, Casey Stengel, Joe Medwick, Harry Danning, Bucky Walters. Sigs mainly 6-8, with Ott being a 6, other keys are somewhat better. Excellent. 1942 National Leaguers has 29 autos with Ott (8), Reese (5), Vaughan (4), Frisch (7), Slaughter (7), Lombardi (5), McKechnie (5) and Hubbell (6). This one is VGEX, with a few "clubhouse" signatures.
