Coro jewelry collection of brooches, earrings and necklaces. The firm of Cohn and Rosenberger was established in 1901 by Emanuel Cohn and Carl Rosenberger. In 1943 they adopted the name Coro, Inc. Corocraft was a jewelry line made by Coro and was replaced in the 1950's with the Vendome line . There is a clear statement of higher quality jewelry in the Vendome line and this is exactly how Coro positioned it at the time. Most common marks of Coro Jewelry: Pegasus with no name, CORO in block letters on tag, Coro in script, Pegasus symbol and Coro, CORO. Inc, Corocraft, Coro Craft, Vendome.This bracelet has the Pegasus symbol and Coro in script. I bought it at an antique market many years ago. 8 inches around. 3 ounces.
