Here we start with a vintage & spectacular looking Emerson tube ingraham wood AM radio in fantastic working condition. The model number on this stunning looking Emerson is 439 & it was produced around the 1942 era. I believe this is a ingraham wood cabinet although I cannot find the ingraham sticker. This cabinet is all original that has been cleaned & polished & it is solid & tight with no missing veneer. The cabinet retains it's original sheen or shine through out the entire cabinet. The grain in the wood is just gorgeous looking to say the least as I hope my pictures will show. The is an inlaid wood pin-stripe on each side of the front that starts at the bottom up the front & across the top which is in great condition. The wood slated speaker grill is in fantastic condition which also adds a very nice touch to the style of the cabinet. Now as nice as this radio looks & believe me it does look sweet but it is not perfect as there are a couple of light scratches & some light wear on a couple of edge & some crazing in the finish. For a radio that is 70+ years old & in it's original finish it is extremely nice looking. All pictures can be supersized so you may get a good view at this gorgeous looking radio.
