Just in time for the holidays, a Franciscan Apple Three Footed Soup Tureen. This piece is in Great condition with only a small bit of glazed chipped off under the rim of the lid around w the ladle would be ( see picture). It really doesn't show at all when in use. T are no other cracks, crazing or discoloration. the mark is one of the oldest Franciscan made in California marks 1940-1947. e. It measures 12 inches from handle to handle and 9 inches in high. This tureen is part of my grandmothers collection that she recieved when she married in the early forties. I wish I had room for her china collection myself but I'm afraid I love collecting also and just don't have room, your benefit.
