I believe this pretty little, pre-Ginny doll is from the 1940's and is Fairy Godmother.. She is marked Vogue Doll on her back. Her composition body is in great shape. I don't see any crazing at all. She has painted eyes, brows, lashes and lips that look wonderful. Her outfit is original and includes a pink bow around her head, pointed hat with gold trim, a full length dress with attached net slip, white socks and perfect gold center snap shoes. The dress has the ink blot Vogue Dolls tag and 2 hook and eye closures on the back. It is in very good condition. T are a few dots missing from the skirt portion of the dress and some yellowing from age to the dress and slip. I don't see any holes, rips or other problems with the outfit. The socks and gold center snap shoes don't look like they were ever removed. The bottoms of the shoes look like they have water spots but t is no damage to the shoe itself.
