1940's Rolls Royce Kneeling Lady Hood Ornament NO RESERVE AUCTION This is a Rolls Royce kneeling lady hood ornament of the type used for the late 1930's and the 1940's Rolls Royce motor cars. The Mascot is in excellent condition and appears to be solid highly polished stainless steel or chrome. It bears the faint patent markings under each wing.. It comes complete with the bottom bolt and Castle nut. T are markings by the base reading "C.SYKES" and "26-1-34". Please note the excellent detail on this beautiful mascot, as shown by the photo of her dainty foot w you can even see her toes. Mascot comes complete with a beautiful marble base, though not the one shown. This beautiful Rolls Royce mascot is in excellent condition and comes complete with a large matching unthreaded radiator cap. Mascot with the cap measures about 5.5 inches in height. This mascot has not been appraised, so naturally, I cannot guarantee originality; however, it is a magnificent desk trophy and a great collectors item.
