Up for auction is a set of 1940s-vintage sunglasses that are in very good, wearable condition. They are unmarked, but very closely resemble the B&L Raybans from that period. The glasses feature a gold-toned metal frame that is in very good condition, showing no damage at all. The frame measures about 130mm hinge to hinge. The amber, non-prescription lenses are in real nice shape and measure about 48mm x 42mm in size. The mother-of-pearl nose rests and earpieces are also in good order. Offered with the original felt-lined tin storage case, which also is in great condition. This is a good, solid set -- ready to wear and enjoy. The pictures do tell all. Offered with a reasonable opening and NO RESERVE. Postage $5.50 to US locations (insurance optional); NON-US BIDDERS, PLEASE CONTACT ME FOR SHIPPING AND PAYMENT INFORMATION.
