You are bidding on a 1940's VINTAGE WOODEN CARVED MECHANICAL BOTTLE STOPPER FROM GERMANY. I have personally owned this particular bottle stopper for over 40 years and it has been in my family for longer than that. It measures 4 1/2" in length end-to-end. IT HAS A LEVER IN THE BACK, WHICH LOWERS IT'S HEAD AND RAISES EYEGLASSES TO THE HEAD. It's in EXCELLENT condtion. The stopper body and the cork do not have any dents or chips.
