This is a "Rare-Hard To Find", three (3) old World War Two California License Plates that have been combined to make up one (1) single license plate. Due to a shortage of metal during World War Two, California issued Black background plates in "1941". In "1942" they issued Yellow Topper Strips, which were attached along the upper edge of the "1941" plates. In "1943" California issued the "V" for "Victory" (Red "V" with a White background), which was attached over the number "42" at the upper right hand corner of the plate. Overall, you are bidding on three (3) World War Two California license Plates that have combined on to one (1) single license plate. Considering that these plates are approx. 65 years old, I would consider them to be in "GOOD" to "VERY GOOD" condition. As can be seen in the attached pictures, t are some minor scratches and surface rust through out, but no extra drilled mounting holes. For someone that collects World War Two memorabilia, these plates are a RARE find. Please take a close look at the attached pictures, and also the Gallery thumbnail pictures, as these plates are being sold "AS IS." If you have any questions with regard to these plates, please email me PRIOR to bidding on this Item. All sales are FINAL, and payment shall be made ONLY by cashiers check or money order. Buyer shall pay an additional fixed
