1941 Boston College Yearbook "The Sub Turri", VerY Good Condition, Published at Boston College, Chestnut Hill, Mass. Book contains over 170 signatures which include To whom the book is dedicated to, The Dean (Rev. John J. Long) several other faculty members. 156 Seniors signed including Now Bishop Joseph Maguire, Louis Montgomery, Who I believe was the 1st Black athelete to play BC Football and was an all-state halfback, and many others. Signed also by the Head coaches of Football; Dennis Myers, who had just taken over the job of Frank Leahy (who is also pictured in the book) coming off possibly the best team ever for BC including the Sugar Bowl victory over Tennessee. Also signed by the Hockey coach; John Kelly, Baseball coach; Fred Maguire, and Track coach, Jack Ryder. Some of the pages/ graduates have written comments by obviously at a later date as to their occupation or how they passed-on & Dated. Many of these Graduates went right off to War. Book has Owner (Graduates) name & Adress to top of 1st cover page. Book has some spine end & light corner wear; Overall a very good book & very interesting.
