You are bidding on a limited edition, 1941 Ted Williams Cooperstown Teddy Bear and miniature wooden bat mint in the original box. This cute bear is 21 1/2" tall, approximately 15" seated, fully jointed and dressed in a Red Sox uniform c.1941. This is a handsome light brown mohair bear with glass eyes and hand embroidered nose and mouth. The limited edition number 252 of 1,006 is embroidered on his left rear paw, a Cooperstown ribbon is sewn on his right rear paw and 52/1006 is written beneath in black marker. The bear wears Ted William's uniform which includes: Red Sox cap, 2 pc. uniform with # 9 embroidered on back and a black belt. His miniature 18" wooden bat is imprinted in red: "TED WILLIAMS MUSEUM AND HITTERS HALL OF FAME." A Cooperstown certificate of authenticity comes inside the box and a tag attached to the bear reads: Commemorates the inaugural induction of the 20 greatest hitters of the game into the museum. I bought this bear years ago but never displayed him. The only time he has been removed from this box was for me to take these photos. He has been stored in a pet free, smoke free, mold free, odor free environment. His original box will be double wrapped in heavy paper for shipment.Please view my photos that are part of the description and ask any questions.
