Here for your consideration is a book of Flowers from Palestine sent from North Africa in 1942, a war time souvenir.It contains ten pressed flowers with pictures opposite them of local sites of historic and or religious interest.The covers of the book are in local olive wood and decorated ,as can be seen from the pictures, with a man using a camel for ploughing.A cut above the usual postcards sent by service men to friends and family! The whole thing is in very good condition.Its dimensions are six inches by three and three quarters.It weighs 147 grams and will be carefully packed.
