it IS once again - i cannot avoid telling you - this rig was listed , auctioned , sold , ALL TO SOMEONE WHO PIRATED SOMEONE ELSES ACCOUNT , JUST TO OUT BID ALL OF YOU AND LEAVE ME HIGH AND DRY , so , i'll tell you the same stuff i KNOW i said the first time. this is one of the NICEST sets i've been able to put together , and if you've been watching me at all you'd know i have some super stuff (collected back when i cared) yep , that's right , i'm not ashamed to say it - NICE STUFF - this rig is dated on every piece with the manufacture's label. ALL 1942 , and ALL very similar in color (fade) as though they had been together for years. for starters we got the belt marked R.M.CO. 1942 in super condition (all snaps and eyelets) with , of course , the bold U.S. on the outside. next we have a canteen holder by G.& R. CO. 1942 , on inside flap , with a bottle in newish condition (alum.) stamped U.S. and the manufacture and year obscured by a crooked strike on the stamp. t was'nt a cup , so t is'nt now. the med pouch is JEFF Q.M.D. 1942 with good hanger and closure - CONTAINING an actual med kit by BAUER & BLACK , unopened , of course. skipping now to the holster - this one is BOYT '42 , beautiful really , the stitching is unbroken , the leather is supple and nice color , the closure peg and hole arent worn, and all the rivets are tight.
