The Yanks' 13th pennant was a real team effort, as Tiny Bonham led the pitching staff (21-5, 2.27 ERA) and HOFer Joe Gordon took AL MVP honors (.322, 18 HRs, 103 RBIs). This was Joltin' Joe's last season before his 3-year WWII service. The scuffed, medium-toned OAL (Harridge) ball features signatures averaging "8-9" overall w/DiMaggio ("7"), Ruffing, Rizzuto, Dickey, Gomez, Gordon, Combs, Henrich, Chandler, Borowy, Kearse, Rolfe, Branch, Donald, Priddy, Selkirk, Crosetti, Hassett, Keller, Schreiber, Lindell, Bonham, Schulte, Steinbach, Rosar and Fletcher.
