Vintage 1943 Hollywood Actresses Maria Montey and Carole Landis 5"x7"photographs. The Montey photgraph is dated August 1943 and the Landis is dated November 1943. The photos are in excellent condition and the Landis is personalized and signed "To Jane the best always Carole Landis" . We do not know if the signature is that of the actress or of an assistant. A close up picture of the signature has been added to the listing for you to analyze. The person who collected the photogrphs added Maria Montey's name to the front of the photo. These photos along with many others currently listed were collected by a young woman in the early 1940's. She would write to the stars an they would send these souvenir photos. The young woman would sometime write notes on the pics and she dated them when she received them. These photos were purchased directly form the lady who collected them.
