Thinning out our Bulova collection. Grab yourself a bargain. All sold ‘as is’ – you decide the value For your consideration I offer this fine example of a men’s vintage BULOVA wrist watch. The Bulova signed CASE is finished in 14k Rolled Gold Plate over a Stirling silver base and a stainless case back which is imprinted on the inner side with the gold content. The tonneau shaped case measures approx. 25mm excluding the crown and 36mm lug tip to tip. The clean signed DIAL is finished in copper and is furnished with applied black numeral hour markers, the hour and minute hands are in the ‘modern’ style finished in black and are complimented by a sub seconds register at the 6 position. The signed MOVEMENT is a calibre 10bc mechanical unit running fine on its 15 jewels, it winds and sets easily and is stamped with the date code for 1943. The CRYSTAL does show some micro-scratches but nothing to detract from its beauty nor does it impair vision of the dial. The attached BAND is a dark brown genuine leather strap with a maximum fit length of 8+ inches. This watch is another well preserved example of Bulova watch-craft from the 1940s a credit to the artisans of the day that unit is still operating as designed.
