TYPE CLASSIFICATION : Original COMMENTS / CONDITION : See scans for further details including condition.Francis Raymond Blades was born in Mount Vernon, IL and died in 1979 in Lincoln, IL. He played major league baseball from 1922 to 1932 as outfielder for the St. Louis Cardinals, and appeared in the 1928, 1930 and 1931 World Series.
