For your consideration is a vintage American Gas Machine Company brand lantern made in 1944. This is a single mantel lantern in perfect working condition. I cleaned it up a bit, and it will need some fine-tune cleaning. I found two mantels inside the little covered parts hole; I suspect t was a pick & wrench in t at one time, but no longer. The original gas funnel is attached. The lantern has a green top and base, and a green-lettered Coleman globe made by PYREX. I carefully inspected the lantern and found minor damage; a few dings on the hood, scuffs along the base, and light wear to the yellow instruction decals. T is minimal paint loss along the base. This lantern stands 14 1/2" tall and the hood is 7" wide. The lantern is stamped on the bottom, "American Gas Machine Company, Albert Lea, MINN, Lantern Gasoline Aged Fuel, 1944, Made in USA."
