This aution is for a fabulous copy of a 1944 The Dandy Monster Comic This was printed and distributed during WW2 which makes copies of this calibre rare It would have been published in 1943 when there was paper rationing which adds to this books valueChildren were encouraged to 'do thier bit' by recycling their books and annuals so today they are rare to find The condition of the book is very good, there are no missing or loose pages The front, back and spine are all intact, there is some wear on the spine but all words are still visible the only writting in the book is in the 'this book belongs to' (see photo) The pages are yellowed with age but the colours are all still bright and visible The damage is as follows- page 68 & 105 there is a small hole Page 75,96,97,108,114 & 115 there are small closed tears in the paper 1cm Long on page 80 and on the last page you can see the binding which is still tight On page 61 there are some smudges (see photo) Any other questions, please ask Postage will be £8.00 recorded delivery for Uk.
