1944 V-MAIL CHRISTMAS Illustrated HMS AJAX Middle East Fresh out of an estate, you are bidding on an original illustrated Christmas V-Mail Greetings sent by a sailor stationed on the H.M.S. Ajax c/o G.P.O. in London. The Vmail card is dated November 5, 1944 and reads TO WISH YOU A HAPPY CHRISTMAS FROM THE MIDDLE EAST and t is a handwritten message signed "Dusty". The illustration shows a Middle Eastern Church (or Mosque with Minaret) and a Country Church. The V-Mail was sent to the USA and is in Excellent condition with its December 10, 1944 postmarked envelope. Offered with NO RESERVE. Please see my other auctions. Pennsylvania residents who do not have a resale tax license are required to pay 6% sales tax.
