Up for bid is a 1944 World War II U.S. Navy Hydrographical Nautical Chart of the Port of Algiers, Algeria. Based on French surveys from 1921, this map offers extraordinary detail throughout, including topography and shows the port on the Mediterranean Sea. The Map measures 41" x 29", was printed in Jan. 1944 and is USN # 4270. The highlighted dots indicate lighthouses. The Map has been folded. A nice piece for the World War II and Navy collector.The Chart is in very nice condition with corner dings and light creases. The Chart will be shipped in a sturdy tube.Payment is required within 3 days of auction ending.Shipping, Handling and Tracking will be determined by Zip Code.The Map has a slightly musty smell.
